Hello my name is Jen and welcome to Pazia Cakes and Cupcakes where you can find recipes about cakes, pastries and some filipino cuisines and asian-inspired cuisines. I was born and raised in the Philippines, back in the days as an older daughter I was tasked to always cooked our meals and because of that I have a strong passion in cooking. I remeber I always cut the back of the boxes that have different recipes and keep it. I graduated as BSBA Major in Banking and Finance but Im not really into it so i decided to pursue my dream in cooking and started learning new different dishes. When I became a franchise dealer I started being interested on baking because of the oven toaster I receive during Christmas Party in my workplace. I started making cupcake recipe from the manual in oven toaster that I received, I start making icing manually without knowing the recipe, im just guessing how to make it. And theres a person who ordered to me even though she knows I don't really know that much in baking. When my parents had a computer I always go to them to research some cake recipes and then im gonna try it and adjust it base on what taste I preferred, and since then I always try to make cakes until I perfect it also in designing cake I can apply my love from arts. Because of me wanting my daughters to always have cake in their birthdays I decided to continue baking. Eventually theres alot of people who wants to order my cakes so I decided to make it as a business.

In 2018 me and my family moved to Oman (Middle East) and try living here, then I became interested in making pastries because theres a lot of pastries that we miss to eat so I decided to learn some pastries. And as the time goes by alot of our friends and coworkers loves my cakes and pastries and want to order and it became our extra income. Whatever kind of design my kids, friends, coworkers wants I just do it even though i don't have enough tools to do it; just use your strategy and have some determination until you make it.

Theres alot of struggles that happened in my life but just keep moving and do what you want to do in your life and achieve the things you've been wanting. Its hard I know but just keep believing especially to yourself and strive more to achieve your dream, theres alot of people who supports and loves you don't give up to your passion you can make it, even though you don't have alot of tools to use just have some strategy and determination; you can make it!
